We write to register our continued sadness at the passing of Angela Kreeger, a central figure of The Site from its first days, who died at the end of December 2024. Angela was a dear colleague and friend; not only an integral part of our organization but also a dedicated tutor and served as the Chair of the Site Council from 2018 until 2022. During her tenure, she shared her chairing with Francesca Joseph and Russell Ayling, contributing her insights and leadership to our community.
With over thirty years of experience as a psychoanalyst, Angela had a profound impact on clients and colleagues alike, practicing in North London and sharing her wealth of knowledge generously. Her commitment to the field of psychoanalysis was not just professional; it was a personal passion that influenced many within our organization.
In September 2023, Angela inspired attendees at The Site’s 25th Anniversary celebration as one of the featured speakers. She eloquently discussed the origins of The Site and the motivations that fuelled its establishment. Her reflections illuminated the collective journey of our community and highlighted the importance of collaboration in psychoanalytic practice.
Angela’s contributions to The Site and the field of psychoanalysis will be remembered and cherished. She leaves behind a legacy of dedication, compassion, and commitment that will continue to inspire future generations. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of working alongside her.
