Introductory Course

The Site offers an introductory year for those interested in contemporary psychoanalysis, which is intended to provoke a way of thinking psychoanalysis differently. It consists of seminars and an experiential group, held on Thursday evenings at Conway Hall in central London from 7pm to 9.45pm.

The next course will start 14 October 2021, running for 27 weeks until June 2022.

Previous academic knowledge of psychoanalysis is not necessary to enrol on the course but a lively intellectual curiosity certainly is. If you were interested in further training as a psychoanalyst this would be a good place to start, although completion of this course does not guarantee acceptance to The Site training. The fee is £950, payable when your application is accepted. This fee will not be refunded unless the course is cancelled or cannot go ahead.

The 2021-22 Introductory Year is now full but please email enquiries@the-site.org.uk if you would like further information or to register your interest for next year.

It is the responsibility of any student enrolled on any course run by The Site to check with the organisation about any Risk Assessments provided by The Site and/or any venues used by The Site. The Site plays a role in responding to complaints – please see here for more information. This does not affect your statutory rights.
