Site SW 2018 Introductory Course dates and syllabus announced

The Site South West runs an annual introductory course (now in its third year) in addition to its established UKCP training in clinical psychoanalysis. This course is an introduction to the Site SW  training, as well as an introduction to the theories and practices of psychoanalysis.  The Site is well known for its critical and comparative engagement with the different traditions of psychoanalytic thought.

Rather than being rooted in one body of psychoanalytic theory, the training explores the different psychoanalytic schools – Lacanian, Object Relations, Kleinian, Relational, Jungian, and Freudian – and reflects on the place of those schools within the contemporary social field.  This course will introduce you to the breadth and diversity of psychoanalysis as well as the Site’s distinctive approach.

The course will take place in Truro on a Thursday evening between 6.00 and 8.00 from April 19 to June 21 2018To book, and for more information on this year’s syllabus, go HERE
