Introductory Course

The SITE for Contemporary Psychoanalysis offers Introductory Courses in both London and Cornwall.

An Introduction to the Site training in Clinical Psychoanalysis, South West

In addition to the well established UKCP registered training, the Site South West is now offering a 9 week introductory course. This course is an introduction to the Site training, as well as an introduction to clinical psychoanalysis.

The Site is well known for its critical and comparative engagement with the theories and practices of psychoanalysis. Rather than being rooted in one body of psychoanalytic thought, the training explores the different psychoanalytic schools—Lacanian, Object Relations, Kleinian, Relational, Jungian, Freudian—and reflects on the place of those schools within the contemporary social field. This course will introduce you to the breadth and diversity of  psychoanalysis as well as the Site’s distinctive approach.
